Everest Therapeutics was founded in Newfoundland and Labrador with a mission to make therapy more accessible, relatable, and human—especially for people in rural and underserved communities across Atlantic Canada.

We know that traditional therapy can feel clinical, intimidating, or disconnected from real life. That’s why we provide virtual counselling and psychotherapy that is warm, down-to-earth, trauma-informed, and evidence-based.

Our team uses approaches like CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and ADHD-informed care to support clients with anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship issues, depression, and life transitions.

We are passionate about serving the East Coast and Ontario, where access to mental health services can be limited—particularly in rural areas, remote communities, and northern regions. By offering online therapy, we bridge the gap between urban and rural mental health care so that support is available wherever you are.

We’re also therapists who support therapists, creating a collaborative, values-driven community that believes in compassion over judgment, connection over perfection, and healing over “fixing.”
